Welcome in Walschbronn

The educational orchard

It was created in 2022 by the Walschbronn arboriculture society on the plateau of the Weckersburg castle: conservation of old varieties, grafting courses, harvests, apple juice workshops... It is the ideal place to learn more about the emblematic fruit varieties of Lorraine and about the auxiliary fauna of the arboriculturist.

In this orchard, there are apple trees, pear trees, cherry trees, mirabelle trees, quetsch trees, Reine-Claude plum trees, peach trees, apricot trees, walnut trees, chestnut trees…

… But also pollinating insects, small worms, birds, hedgehogs, and many other animals !
